Culture

The old town of the Hanseatic city of Wismar, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 2002, offers many cultural highlights. The historic market square with the “Wasserkunst” is just like the old harbor worth a visit. The impressive brick churches invite you to marvel. In the St. Marien church tower, you will learn how such buildings could be built at this time. The St. Georgen church, which was rebuilt after destruction, has a viewing platform over which you can throw a wonderful view over the Hanseatic city.

In Wismar there are various exhibitions, for example in the World Heritage House (right next to the Tourist Information Office, where you will find out more about the UNESCO World Heritage.) Our hotel offers a bike rental service to help you explore this beautiful path on your own. E-bikes are also available on request. Also for hikers Zierow offers a good starting point for exploring the Baltic Sea coast. At our reception you will receive special cycling and hiking maps.

In the garden of the hotel, you can not only relax well. Here you can also start a table tennis match with friends or family. Clubs and balls can be borrowed from the reception.
If you prefer to play mini golf, a miniature golf course awaits you on the beach in Zierow. Here is also a possibility for water sports fans. In the restaurant “Oase” at the campsite in Zierow there are 2 bowling alleys.

In Wismar in the water park “Wonnemar” you can also swim and play, or use one of the sports facilities offered there, such as Bowling, badminton or tennis.

With various locations in Rerik, Kühlungsborn and the surrounding area you can rent water sports equipment and book various courses on request.
